This class is a combination of two simple, but powerful practices. We harness this repeated bowing movement with the breath to release any energy that is not yours and is not contributing to your evolution. Then we practice Kirtan Kriya, one of the most famous—and well studied by western scientists—meditation practices from the kundalini tradition. This week, as we slowly come out of the Lion’s Gate Portal, it is so important to ground ourselves, rest, and listen to what our bodies need as we process and integrate the energy from this potent portal. In this class, we begin with a visualization to anchor ourselves to the center of the Earth, and as we warm up with movements, we continue to feel our bodies grounded into the Earth. We practice tree on each leg to further extend our roots into the ground and practice 26 kundalini frogs to move energy in the legs and torso into our root.

Then we practice this powerful meditation for 11 minutes to unlock the heart. Through strong and abrupt arms movements, we create a powerful force that opens the chest cavity, the shoulders, and the heart center. As we continue through the fatigue and the blocks, the cracks form in this field around our hearts. You can feel the Light of the Cosmos begin to shine out until finally, it radiates out completely.

Cold Depression is a numbness, a feeling of loneliness, a disconnection from self and one another.

This is a kind of depression where you may look completely functional, but underneath there is emptiness. The external demand is, or appears to be, greater than your internal capacity to handle it. We cover it by being busy, or reaching for any kind of addictive or stimulating substance or experience. We cover it by pretending to be okay, and losing touch with our inner sensitivity. Not wanting or able to feel what is going on inside.

This state is a reaction to information overload, disconnection from ourselves and each other, and rapid change ~ which is so much the state of our times.

The remedy is to reconnect with your soul, to community and to your prana (life force and energy). The meditation in this class particularly goes to the root of cold depression, reconnects you with your soul and the preciousness of this life which will lift you up, open you up to feeling, your sensitivity, and relationship to your soul again.

The state of Cold Depression is where you look normal and functional, but underneath you are feeling numb, empty, and maybe purposeless. This is a reactive response to our modern times of information overload and rapid change. The external demand can appear or actually be greater than the inner capacity to meet them.

We can strengthen our inner resources and capacity, by reconnecting to Prana (life force) through the breath, through physical exercise and through nature. We scoop the energy out and throw it behind us, digging deep into the quantum reality of our Selves and accessing anything that you’ve been carrying around for this lifetimes or many lifetimes. Then we use the Seven Wave Sat Nam meditation to harmonize and elevate the energy throughout the seven major chakras in the body. This combination leads to a restorative deep relaxation. This class is a combination of two simple, but powerful practices. We harness this repeated bowing movement with the breath to release any energy that is not yours and is not contributing to your evolution. Then we practice Kirtan Kriya, one of the most famous—and well studied by western scientists—meditation practices from the kundalini tradition. I have been practicing this 11-minute version every day for over four years and I’ve found it to be incredibly stabilizing in addition to its benefits for brain health. This week, as we slowly come out of the Lion’s Gate Portal, it is so important to ground ourselves, rest, and listen to what our bodies need as we process and integrate the energy from this potent portal. In this class, we begin with a visualization to anchor ourselves to the center of the Earth, and as we warm up with movements, we continue to feel our bodies grounded into the Earth. We practice tree on each leg to further extend our roots into the ground and practice 26 kundalini frogs to move energy in the legs and torso into our root.

Then we practice this powerful meditation for 11 minutes to unlock the heart. Through strong and abrupt arms movements, we create a powerful force that opens the chest cavity, the shoulders, and the heart center. As we continue through the fatigue and the blocks, the cracks form in this field around our hearts. You can feel the Light of the Cosmos begin to shine out until finally, it radiates out completely.

Cold Depression is a numbness, a feeling of loneliness, a disconnection from self and one another.

This is a kind of depression where you may look completely functional, but underneath there is emptiness. The external demand is, or appears to be, greater than your internal capacity to handle it. We cover it by being busy, or reaching for any kind of addictive or stimulating substance or experience. We cover it by pretending to be okay, and losing touch with our inner sensitivity. Not wanting or able to feel what is going on inside.

This state is a reaction to information overload, disconnection from ourselves and each other, and rapid change ~ which is so much the state of our times.

The remedy is to reconnect with your soul, to community and to your prana (life force and energy). The meditation in this class particularly goes to the root of cold depression, reconnects you with your soul and the preciousness of this life which will lift you up, open you up to feeling, your sensitivity, and relationship to your soul again.

Then, we worked directly with opening and expanding the heart chakra and strengthening the physical heart muscle with the Sat Kartar, a meditation to open the heart. After observing the sensations of our energetic fields, physical bodies, and specifically in the heart, we moved immediately into the Mediation for a Calm Heart. This combination creates an incredible awareness to our heart, the energy it radiates, and our connection to the Universal Love. By allowing the mantra, I am loving awareness, to settle into your being as you meditate, you merge with the truth that is You. During the healing relaxation at the end, we received reiki, seventh-dimensional Venusian energy, and the Rose Light. Enjoy this magnificent energy and allow yourself to be held in it whenever you feel called.

This state is a reaction to information overload, disconnection from ourselves and each other, and rapid change ~ which is so much the state of our times.

The remedy is to reconnect with your soul, to community and to your prana (life force and energy). This combination creates an incredible awareness to our heart, the energy it radiates, and our connection to the Universal Love. By allowing the mantra, I am loving awareness, to settle into your being as you meditate, you merge with the truth that is You. During the healing relaxation at the end, we received reiki, seventh-dimensional Venusian energy, and the Rose Light. As we continue into spring I also felt called to work with our radiant bodies so that we can connect with our inner light and shine it out into the world. With your left hand spread upon your heart center and the right Jupiter finger extended to the Cosmos, you are connecting with the unconditional love that is you and emanating it out into the world. I felt called to offer this flowing style of yoga for this spring and full moon energy. Instead of sun salutations, this flow is a moon salutation, more gentle, more yin, more restorative in nature. As you flow, please listen to your body and do only what feels right for you and modify as needed. This class is gentle and energizing. With deep stretching in pigeon pose, we allowed our hips to release any stagnant emotional energy and then we ended with bridge rolls on our back. This pose brings the effect of inversions without the strength and balance required by many other inversions. In the healing portion, we had the Archangel energy working with us. I invite you to feel the blue energy of Archangel Michael as you relax in savasana. At the end, we reaffirmed our connection to Earth, bridging our connection to the Cosmos and the Earth at our heart center, and allowing that energy to surround the entire planet. Venus shifted into Gemini this past weekend and we are invited to feel our heart energy, and the love that vibrates within and around us, and emanates from us, communicating love to all. Warming up with cat-cow, down dog, and Fists of Freedom (formerly known as fists of anger), we energize the body and move and build prana. Then, we worked directly with opening and expanding the heart chakra and strengthening the physical heart muscle with the Sat Kartar, a meditation to open the heart. After observing the sensations of our energetic fields, physical bodies, and specifically in the heart, we moved immediately into the Mediation for a Calm Heart. This combination creates an incredible awareness to our heart, the energy it radiates, and our connection to the Universal Love. By allowing the mantra, I am loving awareness, to settle into your being as you meditate, you merge with the truth that is You. During the healing relaxation at the end, we received reiki, seventh-dimensional Venusian energy, and the Rose Light. Enjoy this magnificent energy and allow yourself to be held in it whenever you feel called.

Now that Mercury has moved into Gemini, it is a perfect time to focus on clear communication. As we continue into spring I also felt called to work with our radiant bodies so that we can connect with our inner light and shine it out into the world. Then with the Meditation for Clear Communication, we worked directly with the Mercury energy and empower ourselves to be heard as well as listen deeply. Then we worked with the Kriya to Magnify the Radiant Body. In this powerful meditation, we chant the Aad Such Mantra, a code fr unconditional love. With your left hand spread upon your heart center and the right Jupiter finger extended to the Cosmos, you are connecting with the unconditional love that is you and emanating it out into the world. Feel to love, be the love, extend the love.

In the deep relaxation at the end of class, we used a technique that helped us feel the light throughout our body, then radiated it outward, merging with all that is. Gentle Flow with Meditative Moon Salutations

I felt called to offer this flowing style of yoga for this spring and full moon energy. Instead of sun salutations, this flow is a moon salutation, more gentle, more yin, more restorative in nature. As you flow, please listen to your body and do only what feels right for you and modify as needed. This class is gentle and energizing. With deep stretching in pigeon pose, we allowed our hips to release any stagnant emotional energy and then we ended with bridge rolls on our back. This pose brings the effect of inversions without the strength and balance required by many other inversions. In the healing portion, we had the Archangel energy working with us. I invite you to feel the blue energy of Archangel Michael as you relax in savasana. At the end, we reaffirmed our connection to Earth, bridging our connection to the Cosmos and the Earth at our heart center, and allowing that energy to surround the entire planet. Feel your light and spread it!

In this class, we began by centering ourselves with the breath and grounding into the earth. Then we worked with one of my favorite yoga sets—Nabhi Kriya. This kriya strengthens our core and connects us to our power, strength, identity, and grit. Even a very short version of the kriya(less than 15 minutes) is incredibly effective. After this energizing power movement, we moved into a short balancing meditation, using a mudra that automatically brings stable, neutral energy to the mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional bodies. I invite you to revisit this class any time you need to energize and balance yourself. It’s also a powerful experience to do this kriya and mediation daily for 40 days.

This week, as we slowly come out of the Lion’s Gate Portal, it is so important to ground ourselves, rest, and listen to what our bodies need as we process and integrate the energy from this potent portal. In this class, we begin with a visualization to anchor ourselves to the center of the Earth, and as we warm up with movements, we continue to feel our bodies grounded into the Earth. We practice tree on each leg to further extend our roots into the ground and practice 26 kundalini frogs to move energy in the legs and torso into our root.

This is a kind of depression where you may look completely functional, but underneath there is emptiness. The external demand is, or appears to be, greater than your internal capacity to handle it. We cover it by being busy, or reaching for any kind of addictive or stimulating substance or experience. We cover it by pretending to be okay, and losing touch with our inner sensitivity. Not wanting or able to feel what is going on inside.

This state is a reaction to information overload, disconnection from ourselves and each other, and rapid change ~ which is so much the state of our times.

The remedy is to reconnect with your soul, to community and to your prana (life force and energy). The meditation in this class particularly goes to the root of cold depression, reconnects you with your soul and the preciousness of this life which will lift you up, open you up to feeling, your sensitivity, and relationship to your soul again.

Cold Depression is a numbness, a feeling of loneliness, a disconnection from self and one another.

This is a kind of depression where you may look completely functional, but underneath there is emptiness. The external demand is, or appears to be, greater than your internal capacity to handle it. We cover it by being busy, or reaching for any kind of addictive or stimulating substance or experience. We cover it by pretending to be okay, and losing touch with our inner sensitivity. Not wanting or able to feel what is going on inside.

This state is a reaction to information overload, disconnection from ourselves and each other, and rapid change ~ which is so much the state of our times.

The remedy is to reconnect with your soul, to community and to your prana (life force and energy). The meditation in this class particularly goes to the root of cold depression, reconnects you with your soul and the preciousness of this life which will lift you up, open you up to feeling, your sensitivity, and relationship to your soul again.

The state of Cold Depression is where you look normal and functional, but underneath you are feeling numb, empty, and maybe purposeless. This is a reactive response to our modern times of information overload and rapid change. The external demand can appear or actually be greater than the inner capacity to meet them.

We can strengthen our inner resources and capacity, by reconnecting to Prana (life force) through the breath, through physical exercise and through nature. We return to our feeling and sensitivity to the Soul through yoga, creativity, mantra and Celestial Communication. And we further reconnect through Community.

The Breath and Celestial Communication in this practice will bring you back to that connection to your soul and to your prana, and open yourself up to your own sensitivity that turns numbness to feeling and to embrace the preciousness of this life.

This session features two beautiful mediations—one that clears the arcane and karmas through rhythmic and graceful movement—and the other that move the energy through the chakras up the central channel. We start by moving and warming up the body before settling into the Meditation for the Arcline and to Clear the Karmas. This meditation involves moves slowly and smoothly with the mantra Wahe Guru Wahe Jio. We scoop the energy out and throw it behind us, digging deep into the quantum reality of our Selves and accessing anything that you’ve been carrying around for this lifetimes or many lifetimes. Then we use the Seven Wave Sat Nam meditation to harmonize and elevate the energy throughout the seven major chakras in the body. This combination leads to a restorative deep relaxation. You might hear (and feel!) the dolphin energy that joined us in the healing.

In deep relaxation, you receive deep healing from the Universal Life Force Energy and planetary alignments that are relevant whenever you watch.
